Funeral Of Dead are a band from the Czech Republic that plays a very old school form of melodic, raw and primitive sounding black metal with a death metal edge and this is a review of their self released 2007 demo.
Drums range from s low, mid paced to fast drumming with some blast beats being utilized at times, while the bass playing has a very dark tone with riffs that follow the riffing that are coming out of the guitars.
Rhythm guitars range from slow, mid paced to fast black metal riffs that are very old school, heavy, melodic, raw and primitive sounding with some death metal influences being thrown into t he riffing, while the lead guitars are very melodic sounding black metal guitar solos and leads, as for the classical guitars when they are utilized they use finger picking to add some darkness to the music.
Vocals are mostly grim sounding and high pitched black metal screams along with some deep death metal growls being utilized at times, while the lyrics cover darkness and war themes, as for the production it has a very heavy, powerful, raw and primitive sound to it.
In my opinion Funeral Of Dead are a very great sounding heavy, melodic, raw and primitive black/death metal b and and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this demo. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "21:37" and "Ares". RECOMMENDED BUY.
