Nuclear Hellfrost are a band from Fort Wayne, Indiana that plays a mixture of raw and primitive sounding black metal, grind, crust, punk and thrash and this is a review of their self released 2012 demo.
Drums range from slow, mid paced to fast drumming with a good amount of blast beats being thrown into the music, while the bass playing has a very dark tone tone with riffs that follow the riffing that are coming out of the guitars.
Rhythm guitars range from s low, mid paced to fast riffs that combine raw and primitive sounding black metal with grind, crust, punk and thrash together to create a sound of their own with some melody being thrown into the riffing, while the lead guitars are very raw and primitive sounding black/thrash metal guitar solos and leads.
Vocals range from high pitched black metal screams to deep crust/grindcore growls along with some punk style shouting, while the lyrics cover war, darkness and drinking, as for the production it has a very dark, heavy, raw and primitive sound to it.
In my opinion Nuclear Hellfrost are a very great sounding hybrid of raw and primitive sounding black metal, crust, grin, punk and thrash and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should c heck out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "True War Kvlt Necrolust" "Demonic Nunslayer" and "Storm Of Nuclear Annihilation". RECOMMENDED BUY.
